ELVI Consultants began its journey in 2022 with a focus on education, student development and thoughtful guidance for future opportunities. Over time, that foundation evolved into an education-focused organisation supporting both language development and international education decisions.
OUR STORY
From the classroom to global education.
ELVI’s growth has been gradual and education-led. What began with English learning and student development later expanded into international education guidance, while keeping preparation and responsible counselling at the centre.
Where it began
ELVI began in 2022 with education, English preparation and student development at its core. Classroom learning, counselling and individual attention shaped the organisation from the beginning.
A wider student journey
ELVI expanded into international education guidance, adding profile assessment, course and university selection, applications and visa-process preparation.
One education-focused organisation
ELVI now supports both English education and international education guidance while keeping the same core principle: understand the student first, guide the next step second.
Today, ELVI works across two connected areas — international education guidance and English education — without losing the academic foundation on which the organisation was built.

Akshay Thakkar
Akshay leads ELVI’s Study Abroad division and the overall direction of the organisation. His work focuses on student profiling, international education, university relationships and helping students understand suitable destinations, courses and institutions before moving into the application process.
Alongside his international-education role, he remains involved in PTE preparation and student communication, keeping the leadership team closely connected with the academic side of ELVI.

Anjali Thakkar
Anjali supports ELVI’s operational management, application processing and documentation workflows. Her role helps keep student files, communication and internal processes organised, careful and professionally managed.
She works behind the scenes to strengthen the systems that connect counselling, applications and documentation across the student journey.

Ira Thacker
Academic Head · IELTS Educator & Author
The academic direction of ELVI begins here. At ELVI, English Education stands alongside Study Abroad as an equally important division. Teaching quality, programme structure and student progression are central to that work — and Ira leads its academic direction.
She oversees the learning framework across ELVI’s English programmes, with particular emphasis on IELTS preparation, Spoken English, communication skills and progressive language development. Her approach goes beyond teaching students answers for a test; the focus is on helping learners understand language, express themselves naturally and build lasting confidence.
As an IELTS educator and published author, her work also extends into IELTS with Ira Ma’am, a dedicated IELTS Speaking learning resource.
